I started this blog several years ago, but it didn't last long. I recently deleted all those posts since they were outdated and I wasn't happy with the writing. Also many of the links were dead. So goodbye old blog, hello new....
I occasionally write blogs on myspace as well, and decided maybe it was time for me to find a second outlet...one that encourages me to write more often. Over at myspace I goof around a little too much to get serious about keeping up with my blog. I'm hoping this revamping of my old stomping grounds will get me a little more inspired. Don't expect much, but it could grow into something beautiful.
To expand a little on my little bio-blurb thingy over there on the right, I'm 34 years old and married with two beautiful girls, a 10 year old step-daughter (who I treat as my own) and a 6 year old. Those three girls are the loves of my life!
I play bass in a long running local punk band, Los Accidentes. All the members of the band are pretty well grounded here in our CLT area, so don't expect to see us hitting your town anytime soon. A few out of town shows may be in order down the road, but they won't be far...NC, SC and possibly GA but that's about it. Mostly we'll be staying within the confines of Charlotte and mostly at our home, The World Famous Milestone.
I love music, movies (especially sci-fi, horror, comedy and superhero movies...I guess those are sci-fi as well), art, toys and the geeky side of life!
Well, that's me in nutshell...if you want to see the stranger side of me check the link above to my myspace page. Just remember MikeHell is sort of a character...an extension of myself, but an exaggerated one. I have some crazy friends and I get some weird comments posted on my page from time to time...proceed at your own caution especially if you're easily offended.
